  Living in Frankston, I thought I support a local Mechanic and organise a Road Worthy. I called up on a Wednesday and to their credit , they booked the car on Friday , knowing it was an emergency as the car was going to WA on the following Tuesday. Had the car all day and called up at 4 30 pm and was told the car be ready 5 15 pm. Oh by way we needed a battery clamp.. which could have been ordered all day.. Anyway picked the car up , told they can order the part first thing Monday and have it ready for Tuesday and finish of the roadworthy 100% Tuesday morning or Tuesday. Drop the car of Tuesday 2pm would be ready 30 minutes. Wow call 4 pm and was told the inspector had an emergency, had to leave . They can do it first thing Wednesday morning. Ok fair enough things happen, however they knew the level of urgency etc and yet we had to call to found out what was happening with the car. Poor communication etc. Here is the kicker , we were told they'll will buy from Repco or another supplier, around $20/$30 , don't buy a genuine OEM VW part they'll charge double. Surprise surprise, they charged us $50 cash. Called up VW dealer .. genuine VW battery clamp $22.95. Morale of the story , customer service poor , customer communication poor and be warned if you have no idea of costs and repairs they might use you like an open check book. I know people have bad experiences etc, However if you look at my reviews , I always give great reviews and be honest with my opinions. You could take my review on board or you can try them yourself and form your own view. From my point of view , I will definitely not use them again , nor will I recommend them.

  Have been going to Marshalls for years, and they are always fantastic - reliable and honest. Won't go to another mechanic!

  I cannot praise this place highly enough, friendly, professional service who always give the feeling they care for you, have looked after me on several occasions and do go above and beyond what I expect of any business. Do yourself a favour and visit them for your next service or repair.
