I recently purchased a classic car part on gumtree and was understandably disappointed to find out it was made of plastic, even though it was priced as though it was an original stainless part.. When I asked for a refund Bernie refused saying that I didn’t specifically ask if the item was plastic.
If they had nothing to hide perhaps they could have mentioned this in their ad? Surely a simple return/refund isn’t an unreasonable request?
Bernie then went on to call me “a self centred time waster and a constant nuisance to myself and everyone I ever deal with”. He also berated me for not requesting registered post even though there were no issues with this, so I’m not sure what sparked his outrage. Wow... all I asked for was a refund. Well they have my money so I guess that’s the most important thing to them.
4R Motors are a rip off, with condescending and aggressive customer service. Zero stars.
